Teaching

I have been teaching photography to children for the last ten years through the Buckingham County Arts Council during their Summer Arts Camp. The kids actually get to run a professional photography studio themselves. I have also held classes through the Buckingham County Recreation Department and I taught basic photography to adults for twelve years.

I am available for individual tutoring in digital cameras and photography(DSLR), Photoshop, MAC OS 10, Iphoto, Itunes, Facebook and Social Media and more.. Contact me to schedule a tutoring session.

Web Services

I have been designing and maintaining websites including this one for over fifteen years. My own website with it's clean white background and simple but elegant grey text was ahead of it's time when I first launched it over ten years ago. I still think it is the best way for my potential clients to veiw the work. My work stands on it's own and does not need flashy templates to hide mediocrity.

I can build, ugrade, maintain, manage and help you set up your hosting. Contact me for a site review or quotes.

Nature Photography

I have always loved being outdoors. Sharing images of our natural world that sometimes we take granted or forget gives me great satisfaction.

Fine Art

fine art photography

My fine art imaging is about using photography to explore light and its nature. How it reflects and it's nature as it is captured.

About Becky

I live in the heart of Virginia where I grew up with my husband and two sons, Joey and Will. I love being a mom. Will
As my oldest, Joey, has grown older, I really love that we share our passion for art and photography.

Joey

I learned photography when cameras and films were unforgiving. Today's technology allows me more freedom in creativty but I am always relying on my decades of film experience to make my digital imaging stand apart.

Photojournalistic Approach

I became a photographer for my high school yearbook and later I worked for my college newspaper, The Collegiate Times. Working for the newspaper taught me that you can not count on studio precision while out on assignment. My assignments for the newspaper helped mold how I would approach wedding photography, offering the photojournalistic approach before many mainstream photographers.

Commercial & Product Photography

In the beginning as I built my business, I wanted to focus on commercial photography. And I wanted to travel. So I began building my "mobile" studio. I love the challenges that product photography brings and all my commercial experience gives my portraiture an extra dimension.
